Back to our regular schedule....
....of NEW ARRIVAL POSTS!

Today's entry features a new yarn (from an interesting fiber) and a new book from Sublime called Bamboo & Pearls DK. What a wonderfully, soft, drapey yarn - great for a summer top or cardi and the most interesting thing about it is is is 70% bamboo sourced viscose and 30% pearl sourced viscose! Yes, I said Pearl!!! This yarn has nice, rich, intense colors and a wonderful sheen.
Of course, we have the book that goes along with the yarn too! Got to love great pattern support!!!

A fun new notion!
I don't know about you, but I love knitting gadgets and notions.
We have a fun, new one to introduce to you -

Stitch Dots!
"StitchDots™ “talk” to knitters and crocheters with words and symbols imprinted on each marker. Use the “Start” marker to identify the beginning of your row and the “End” marker to do the opposite. Use the RS and WS markers to point out the Right Side and Wrong side or your project and the Inc and Dec markers to denote when its time to Increase and Decrease. Other helpful markers include the letters A, B, C, D, E, & F. Every StitchDot™ package includes 20 markers and a cool retro carrying pouch. "

Are you tired of the New Arrival posts yet?
'Cause we've got quite a lot to get through in the next couple of days.
Mr. UPS brought in another load of boxes today.
The first one opened up was a big box of NEW Namaste bags! This one is called the Monroe.

Here's what Namaste has to say about this bag....."Organize in style with the Monroe bag, featuring a unique 3-compartment storage design fully equipped with extra pockets and strong magnetized closures. This bag features a rear document pocket that's excellent for toting your magazine or other important documents unharmed. Optional strap buddy to keep straps together so slippage off the shoulder isn't an issue. You're gonna love this bag".

Next up in our new deliveries today was more of our Spring order from Berroco. This box included their new yarn called Origami! Origami is an exciting new yarn for warm weather months with many multicolored strands running parallel to each other, wrapped by a black binder and knitting into a remarkably light and crisp finished fabric.

The parade of new yarns continues....
Noro Taiyo is a blend of cotton, silk, wool and nylon in the fabulous Noro colors that we all love. But you have to touch this one - believe it or not, it is Next To The Skin Soft! This would make a great Lady Eleanor or Clapotis for a nice summer wrap. A cardigan out of this would be fabulous too and of course, we have some great new Noro Books to help you find the perfect pattern.
(The colorway pictured at left reminds me of spring!)
