New Berroco
Sorry for the blog silence the last couple of days, but we've been busy unpacking our Spring Berroco order! All the yarns and books are out in the physical store and will be up in the online store soon.Included in this order is a new sock yarn called Berroco Sox Metallic. Great colors with just a hint of glitz! 100 gram skeins for $15.00, so a great price point too!
Of course, we also have the newest Norah Gaughan Volume 4 book in stock too. This book features unique spring/summer sweaters from romantic flowing designs to garments featuring surface designs using tucks, pleats or ruching. Designs in this booklet use Berroco's Pure Pima, Mica and Seduce.

NEW STUFF!
Check out our New Arrivals page to see the new stuff! We unpacked a box of Fleece Artist / Hand Maiden with some gorgeous colors in Casbah (Nummy sock yarn with Merino Wool and Cashmere!). I'm still working to get the Sea Silk colors loaded up online. Stay tuned.....
We've also added another pattern line to the shop - Figheadh Yarnworks. Our current patterns that we have from them are also listed on the New Arrivals page. There are some great sock and hat patterns there!
Great American Aran Afghan KAL
I just wanted to post a reminder that our Great American Aran Afghan Knit-Along meets today (Wednesday) and tomorrow evening. For those of you that got side-tracked with the holidays and set the afghan project aside, why not get back on track and get some more blocks done!!!
Remember, we meet every other week - Wednesdays from 1 - 3 and Thursdays from 6 - 8. You pick which day works for you!

Piecework Magazine
We don't normally stock the Piecework magazine from Interweave Press, but since this issue is the 3rd Annual Historical Knitting Issue, we've brought in a limited supply into the shop.There are some great knitting articles and patterns inside, including how to knit two socks at once - one inside the other. Are you intrigued by this??? If so, we'll be teaching a class on this technique starting in February.

Shibui Sock
Just a quick drive-by post to let you know that Shibui Sock Yarn has arrived in the shop. "This is the perfect sock yarn. This ultra-soft superwash merino is gentle enough for baby clothing but hardy enough to stand up to a hiking boot." Look for all the colors here. ABSOLUTELY NUMMY STUFF!!!!
