Another New Zauberball!

This time we have Zauberball Crazy that has just been unpacked!

Skacel's newest sock yarn has been kicked up a notch, as two strands of the main ply have been dyed individually and then twisted together for a crazy combination! The end result is a self-striping multi-colored pattern, with a bold variegated design! Zauberball Crazy is 75% Merino Wool and 25% Nylon. It knits up on US #1 - 3 needles and gauge is approx. 6.75 to 8 stitches per inch. Great yardage at approx. 459 yards per 100 gram ball!
(The yarn actually looks even better than it is shown above - now to decide which ball is coming home with me........there are several that are my favorites!)

Pagewood Farm sock and lace

Just yesterday, we received a small order from Pagewood Farm - this included some Chugiak (their popular sock yarn that we've had in the past), and some Willow Creek (their lace yarn in 8 oz. hanks - 1350 yards).

Everything is now posted in the online section (what is left, anyway!).

Another Great New Sock Book

Just Delivered - Another great new sock book from Wendy Johnson of wendyknits.net fame.

This is another one that I have anxiously been waiting for and believe me, it does not disappoint!!!

There are great instructions and diagrams in the beginning of the book to get you going "toe-up". Pair that up with great patterns and this book is a winner.

We are also restocked in the new Cookie A book, Sock Innovation.
Hurry though - I have a feeling that both of these titles won't be lasting long!

It's all about Organization!

Are your knitting bags a mess inside? We've got the perfect solution for you to help you keep your projects organized and your yarn from becoming a tangled mess!

We've got lots of project pouches from Della Q! The silk pouches come in large and small sizes, and the cotton pouches come in lightweight cotton or heavy duty cotton. These are priced right, so you can stock up on a couple of them.

We've also received the Rosemary bags from Della Q. These are the perfect size for your take-along sock project and even has an outside pocket for your notions. There are 4 colorways available - pink, blue, green, and yellow.

Here's to keeping organized! (I'm sure my husband is laughing out loud right about now!)

The latest sock yarn from Opal is here! This one is Opal Cotton 2009 and is a blend of 30% supersoft cotton blended with 32% polyamid, then twisted with 38% superwash wool.

Great for Spring and Summer sock wearing with a nice, bright summer color palette!

Addi Click update

Late breaking news from Skacel - They received a shipment of Addi Clicks (we were to be finally getting our order from this shipment), but due to quality control issues, they declined this shipment. What that means to us is that our order that we were expecting next week is delayed. They did not have any current information as to when their next order will be received, so unfortunately, I do not have an ETA for our order.
The good news about this is that they are VERY good about quality control and you can be assured that the sets that get shipped out to the shops are TOP quality.
