Sorry - another quick post here

I'm being buried alive in boxes this week so the posts have been quick and brief! Sorry about that.
I wanted to show some of the new arrivals. I hope to get caught up with everything next week, so stay tuned.
First up - we have Toe Jamz sock yarn! This is from a Wisconsin Dyer that I met at Shepherd's Harvest this past May. She has awesome sock yarn - believe me when I say that my photos do not do this yarn justice.

This week, we have been bombarded with fiber for spinning and it didn't stop today! Frabjous Fibers has new colorways in their BFL and Merino fiber, and now have it available in 4 oz. braids! How about some "Tea, Toast and Cake", or "Chocolate Cherries", or...........
We have 8 colorways in BFL and 8 colorways in Merino. Come pick out your favorite!

It did arrive!

Yes, our order of Malabrigo did show up today. It's all inventoried, but now I'm working on getting the NEW colorways online.

It's been a while since we've had Malabrigo Sock and we did get some in this order including the new colors for Fall, and here they are!

They'll be new colors posted in Lace, Worsted and Silky Merino too!

Mmmmm....Marvelous Malabrigo!

Another quick post here, but look for a nice size order of Malabrigo to arrive tomorrow. I'm expecting Lace, Silky Merino, more Sock (including some new colorways) and Worsted.

Quick Drive-By Post

This is just a quick drive-by post - we've been busy getting new inventory out on the shelves!

New arrivals this week include:
Two new sock yarn collections from Regia - Flusi (very colorful yarn with an optional cute storybook) and the Best of Effects (this collection has 12 of their most popular self-striping sock yarns).

More Jojoland Melody Superwash (including a few new colorways for the shop).

Fiber! We received a restock of fiber from our local dyer, Mia, on Friday. On Tuesday, we received an order from both Ashland Bay and Louet! WE HAVE LOTS OF FIBER!!!

Today's arrival - more Zauberball sock yarn - full bags in the popular colorways!

Great for socks (obviously), but also for sweaters (Noro has a some patterns in their books for sock yarn sweater projects), and this makes fabulous scarves too!

New Stuff!

The Dream In Color yarns (both Smooshy and Classy) did in fact show up in the shop yesterday!

Todays delivery included some new patterns from Bonnie Marie of ChicKnits!

We LOVE the ChicKnits patterns - they are very well written, easy to follow patterns and very fashion forward! I know which pattern I'm going to cast on for......now to pick out my yarn!

Another NEW arrival is Rowan Magazine #46! This is the new Fall/Winter pattern book from Rowan which features 48 designs. Looks like the upcoming cold weather season will be a great one for knitting.

Expecting a nice big box of yarn, that is!

We should be getting a nice box of Dream In Color Classy and Dream In Color Smooshy delivered the first part of next week - maybe even Monday?

GREAT New Book!

Last week, we received the book, Knitted Gifts. As soon as I broke open the box, we sold out of the book, Knitted Gifts!
Seriously, it is THAT good.
Our reorder arrived this morning, so we now have more available. This book contains 30 projects for any gift giving occasion (or if you want to gift yourself, why not!). Knitted Gifts focuses on smaller projects that can be created in a relatively small period of time, and don't you think you should be starting your holiday knitting??

Why my pups can't come to the shop!

This was the scene this morning at my house and also shows the evidence as to why you won't find my dogs visiting at the shop!

Koby decided that he wanted some attention, so he grabbed my pattern (yes, I'm working on the Hey Teach cardigan - I'm on the 2nd sleeve) and by the time I nabbed him, there was a good chunk out of the pattern! It's a good thing he is just too darn adorable!!!

Spin Control

I love great reference books. I don't hesitate to purchase a book if I know that I will get lots of information and inspiration from it. Our latest book order contained SPIN CONTROL which is a great reference book for the spinners out there.
Learn the techniques to spin the yarn that YOU want!
