New from Nashua
I've been getting behind on my New Arrivals posting here on the shop blog - Sorry!
(If you are on Ravelry, I also post there with the New Arrivals in our group - Friends of Knitter's Palette Yarn Shop. Because I can post a quick message there, it usually will get the information first.)
We did receive an order from Nashua this week which includes the new Nashua Magazine #2.

We brought in a few new yarns also - Champlain and Paradise. Of course, there are also pattern booklets to go along with each of these yarns too.
For the sock knitter, Nashua has a new sock yarn called Best Foot Forward. The colorways were designed by Kristin Nichols and have her very distinctive colors and color combinations.

Sweater Season (?)
To me, September is usually the start of my official sweater season. This September (with the summer weather deciding to make an appearance now) not so much! So that means that I'm not wearing sweaters, but I am knitting them!
I finished the Mondo Cable Pulli from ChicKnits and decided that it was a nice and fun knit, so I decided to go ahead and make the Mondo Cable Cardi too!
This would be a great sweater to do for our ChicKnits Sweater Class that Shauna is teaching. You get to choose any of the ChicKnit patterns for the class.

New Titles
We're constantly ordering books for the shop - reorders of titles that we carry, plus we try to stay on top of the new books that are released. With that being said, I did want to show off some new books that we just unpacked today!
Swedish Knits, Alice Starmore's Book of Fair Isle Knitting (much anticipated), Hat Heads and Toe-Up! (We've actually had Toe-Up! in previously, but we sold out so fast, that I figured it needed mentioning again!)
We've got yet ANOTHER book order due in later this week, so stay tuned....
